What is Jotsky?

Jotsky is an online service for notes and reminders. It makes sure you never forget thoughts or ideas, no matter whether you are in front of your computer or only have a mobile phone in hand. It's an easy way to remind yourself (or someone else) to buy groceries, send a birthday card, or get that long-overdue haircut. It has many uses and new ones are being discovered every day.

To tell everyone how you use Jotsky, write about it in http://howijot.livejournal.com.

Why do I need it?

Everyone needs Jotsky for a different reason, but there is one thing in common: Jotsky allows you to post and manage notes. Jotsky is web-based, so your notes are available everywhere. It has a unique user experience, making it super simple to manage notes. And it is linked to your mobile phone, so you can post without being in front of the computer. What other reasons would you need?

What does “Jotsky” mean?

Jotsky is named after its creator Albert Jotsky, whose life goal was to let ordinary people do extraordinary things (like sending SMS messages to their computers). Also, “to jot down” in English mean “to write a short note”, as well as “the smallest possible amount of something” from the Greek iota.
